Wireless smart locks demand both excellent real-time performance and rock-solid network stability, while also imposing strict ultra-low power consumption requirements. Is it possible to have the best of both worlds?

A hotel lock management system governs access to all guest rooms within a property. It typically consists of a front desk management terminal, card issuer, and networked smart locks. By enabling time-limited access, tiered authorization, and customizable permission sets for smart cards, the system manages entry rights for staff and guests alike, safeguarding both personnel safety and property security while streamlining administrative workflows.

Smart Lock Networking Solution for Hotels

Wireless smart locks retain all the advantages of legacy wired networked locks while eliminating the hassle of cabling. This drastically reduces the deployment complexity of large-scale lock monitoring networks for hotels and office buildings. No tedious wiring is required for the locks themselves—each lock connects wirelessly to a gateway/base station to enable seamless two-way data transmission and remote control between the front desk and individual locks.

Given the ultra-low power consumption demands of smart wireless locks, ZigBee modules feature proprietary low-power networking optimizations, and have been successfully deployed in large-scale hotel and office building smart lock projects. This solution removes the need for network cabling, enabling effortless networked control of hotel locks. Compared to alternative wireless solutions such as Bluetooth, these locks offer easier network setup, support for a larger number of nodes, longer transmission range, lower power draw, and superior anti-interference performance.

A wireless smart lock comprises four core subsystems:

  1. Access Card Identification Module

  2. Data Acquisition Module (Battery Level, Door Open/Close Status, etc.)

  3. Electronic Lock Control Module

  4. Wireless ZigBee Communication Module

It handles core functions including lock actuation, access card verification, battery telemetry, and lock status alerting. The ZigBee communication subsystem integrates our module with purpose-built low-power firmware optimized specifically for smart lock applications.

The gateway unit consists of a CPU processing unit, ZigBee communication interface, and Ethernet communication interface.

  • The dedicated ZigBee host module handles storage, forwarding, and processing of server-issued authorization and control commands, as well as storing telemetry data uploaded by locks.

  • The Ethernet communication subsystem uses our IPort module, which enables seamless remote Ethernet connectivity to backend servers via a single serial port.

  • The wireless ZigBee interface leverages the  module to enable reliable communication and control of all connected locks.

Frequently Asked Questions

A: We offer a wide range of smart locks, including fingerprint door locks, keyless entry deadbolts, electronic lever handles, and multi-family access control solutions. Our products support various unlocking methods such as fingerprint, PIN code, RFID card, mobile app, and mechanical key override. We are a professional manufacturer with our own R&D team, production lines, and quality control system. We specialize in OEM/ODM services and have years of experience in the smart lock industry.

A: Yes, our smart locks are designed with multiple layers of security, including AES 128-bit encryption, anti-hacking algorithms, and secure cloud communication protocols to prevent unauthorized access.

A: Yes, our locks feature an anti-tamper alarm that triggers if someone attempts to forcibly open or dismantle the lock. Additionally, an audit trail logs all access events (fingerprint, PIN, app, etc.), which can be viewed in real-time via the mobile app.

A: Our locks provide a low-battery warning days in advance via the app. Even after the warning, the lock can still operate for hundreds of cycles. If the battery is completely drained, an emergency Micro USB port allows for temporary power to unlock the door.Besides all our smart locks come with a mechanical key override as a backup.Battery life typically lasts 8–12 months, depending on usage frequency, number of access events, and connection type (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth). Low-battery alerts are sent in advance.

A: Yes, most of our smart locks are designed for DIY installation with standard tools. We provide detailed video tutorials and step-by-step instructions. No professional drilling or wiring is required for most standard doors. We provide: Installation video tutorials 24/7 online technical support User manuals in multiple languages Remote troubleshooting assistance

A:Yes, our locks are compatible with standard door preparations (US and EU standards). They fit doors with thicknesses between 35mm–55mm and standard 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset.Yes, our locks are designed for easy retrofitting. They fit standard US and EU mortise preparations without the need for additional drilling.
